After High School I went to Elon College and after graduating from college I followed in my father’s footsteps and entered the photography business. For many years I have ran the BW territory at Lifetouch and have had my own venture with Hunt Ward Photography. We have a vacation home at Wintergreen Resort in Virginia and a few years back I purchased Black Rock Market which is the only grocery store/ deli/ gas station on the mountain. Let's just say its worked out well since the children don't ever have to pay for food or gas while they are there! Speaking of children, I have two wonderful kids Nicole and Will. Nicole graduated from Williams and is now a sophomore at Elon University, continuing the family tradition. Will will be entering the eight grade at Turrentine Middle. Julia and I just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary, my how time flies!
Update for 40th class reunion ,after successfully opening 2-restaurants afor 3-years and selling them I’m now entered into the Hemp business where we grew over 3,000 plants very high in CBD. We will extract the oil to produce products to supplement my line of existing products.CBD will “ enhance many people’s quality of life” At this stage of my life helping others is important to me.
My 23 year old son Will is helping me in my business and daughter Nicole ,now 28 has her own luxury brand marketing company in NYC.
Life is good,I’ve moved back in my parents house I grew up in and recently celebrated my 36th anniversary with Julia!
