Our Williams High School Class of 1978 30th Reunion was held this fall over the weekend of October 10 - 11, 2008. It turned out to be our best ever for our very special class of dear friends! If you did not attend, we MISSED YOU ! For those of you made the effort to come, well we did as promised -- WE HAD A BLAST!!

Friday, October 10th: We enjoyed a relaxed night at the home of John and Kim Love. The weather was perfect, the food was outstanding and the company put them both to shame! We just didn't want to leave each other! Not even at 2am!

Penny Kappas Chandler wrote: John...Where can I begin other than a giant thanks. All the work you put into this reunion I know took a lot of time and effort, and it was a great weekend. And opening your home to all of us like you did and the spread you had ready for us, what can I say!? That really made for a longlasting impression. But I'm only going to give you a small credit for Friday and you can pass the rest of the credit on to Kim. What she had to put up with the getting ready, probably putting up with you, and letting all those people who most were strangers to her showed what a good woman you have. She's great.Also, for Shannon for being your right hand man...I mean woman. I can tell alot of work was put into it.

Saturday, October 11th: Our Big Party was held at Alamance Country Club on Pineway Drive. Our tunes were provided by the great band HiFive. As fate would have it, two of our classmates, Lynn (Basden) Cole and Robin (Grim) Fuller have husbands who play in the band. How’s that for home cookin’? Plus they’re really good, too!
